found and halloween
Inspired by this article in Kids Magazine, I decided to go minimal and put small plastic animals in my hair for Halloween.
These are the two culprits. These animals, a walrus and platypus, are obviously in love. Could it be their horribly mistaken proportional relation? My bet is that it's just the mysterious devil eyes of Mr. Pus.
I did a dry run the night before. I started with the diminutive walrus. It was easier to learn my craft with a plastic animal of lesser girth.
With the knowledge gained the night before, I was able to confidently allow the platypus to take up residence in my hair.
The platypus blends in much better. I had several instances of people not noticing at all. I liked that the most. If you happened to be paying attention, the weird lump on my head might be staring back at you. I sat in the front row at the Found Magazine tour. I noticed the guy singing looking at my head during one of the songs. It might have more likely been me being paranoid about it. That show was the best five dollars I've spent in a long time. They have more tour dates coming up. Go see them.
